FM One Support

Airborne FM radio simulator for iPad.

Need help or found something that doesn't match your radio? Email fmoneapp@gmail.com. Tell us which radio you were using and what you pressed. In the app, open the menu and choose Report a Problem, and the radio's details are filled in for you.

How do I turn a radio on?

On the ACME-136A, turn the MAIN knob clockwise off its OFF stop. On the ACME-136B, press the MAIN knob. On the ACME-9000 and ACME-9100, press and hold the knob.

Are my channels saved?

Yes. Channels and frequency cards you add stay on your iPad. Changes made during a training lesson are thrown away when you exit, so your own channels stay as they were.

How do I move channels to another iPad or share them?

Open the menu, then Profiles, and tap Share Profile. To load one, tap the file you received or use Choose Profile File. Loading replaces the channels and settings on all three radios, and can't be undone, so share your own profile first if you want a copy.

Why doesn't scan stop on a channel?

Scan stops when it finds traffic, and the radios are quiet by default. Turn on Simulated traffic, then start the scan.

Can FM One program or control my real radio?

No. It's a training simulator and doesn't connect to any radio.

Is it the same as my radio?

FM One is for training only and may differ from your radio. Always follow the manufacturer's manual and your operator's procedures.
